Affix Capital Security Inc S.A was referenced in an unsolicited email that appears to be fraudulent or bogus. Affix Capital is almost certainly not involved nor likely to approve the use of its name in the e-mail. Scammers often use the names of legitimate banks, companies, governmental agencies and other organizations to make their claims seem legitimate. This site contains a large collection of scam emails that promise non-existent fortunes, inheritances, cases of money, business partnerships, lottery winnings, etc. Don't be fooled by official looking documents (e.g. phony governmental certificates, checks and passports) as scammers make a living forging these things. If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should disregard it. Do not contact the person listed in the email (e.g. Luis Garcia) and especially do not give out personal information. NEVER pay any fees of any kind. If you are victimized by the fraud, there is not much that you can do. You may want to visit other sites to learn more.
