British America Tobacco Company

British America Tobacco Company was referenced in unsolicited emails that we have received appear to be fraudulent or bogus.  British America Tobacco is almost certainly not involved nor likely to approve the use of its name in the e-mails.  Scammers often use the names of legitimate banks, companies, governmental agencies and other organizations to make their claims seem legitimate.  This site contains a large collection of fraud and bogus emails that attempt to scam the recipient into sending money for non-existent fortunes, inheritances, cases of money, business partnerships, lottery winnings, etc.  Don't be fooled by official looking documents (e.g. phony governmental certificates, checks and passports) as scammers make a living forging these things.  If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should delete it.    NEVER pay any fees of any kind.  If you are victimized by the fraud, there is not much that you can do. You may want to visit other sites to learn more.
