Exxon Mobil Company Job Scam

Exxon Mobil Company Job Scam is referenced in emails such as the one below that appear to be fraudulent or bogus.   Here is what Exxon Mobil says about email job solicitations:

Recruiting Scams

ExxonMobil does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates an advance fee of any kind (e.g., placement fees, immigration processing fees, etc.). Unfortunately, we've been made aware of unauthorized individuals using the ExxonMobil name and logo in emails and on web sites in an attempt to solicit up-front fees from interested job-seekers.

Periodically, ExxonMobil engages recruiting and/or placement agencies to help us identify potential candidates for specific positions. If you are contacted by a legitimate recruiting or placement agency, there should be no cost to you, the job-seeker.

Dear Prospective Representative,

It is my pleasure to write you in respect of Exxon Mobil Company, located in London, UK. This company is one of the most powerful manufacturers of Fuels for our engines. Our products include supply of fuel, lubricant, chemical products, synthetic fuels, heavy duty diesel engine oil, automotive engine oil and other products we export to America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Middle East, China, Asia.

It is exciting to say that more customers all over the world have known us by foreign professional exhibitions also in the world stock market and have been satisfied with our services and products, but we find it very cumbersome in accepting payments from some customers because most of them that reside in United States/Canada, UK, Europe prefer to pay us with cheque/Bank transfer/Credit Card rather than cash and we can not accept such payments due to the new monetary policy in our banking systems.

This has become a problem for our company as it tends to cripple our international business links. For this reason the company needs dedicated and loyal representatives who can work for ExxonMobil as an international Staff to help us receive funds from our customers in these areas, as well as making payments through you to us.

Note: You don’t need to quite your present job for this because its not going to affect your present job in anyway.

This is a life time opportunity you could make over ?450 Pounds a week which is equivalent to $675.And also for any payment you help the company to receive you will have 15% of the entire sum which is an additional profit to your $675 weekly. If you work as an international representative, you will be entitled to a basic salary scheme as shown below:

1 Week= ?450 == $675.00

1 Month= ?1,800 == $2,700.00

Annually= ?21,600 =$32,400.00

This is excluding your 15% profit on every return you make for the Company.
