Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) was referenced in unsolicited emails that appear to be fraudulent or bogus. The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria is almost certainly not involved nor likely to approve the use of its name in the e-mails. Scammers often use the names of legitimate banks, companies, governmental agencies and other organizations to make their claims seem legitimate.
