We received multiple spam emails from companies such as Shanghai Chooke Network Information Technology Co., Ltd asking us to contact them about our domain name. See email below. Apparently, these type of emails are sent to many domain owners. Its been speculated that they are trying to profit by instilling fear in website owners to send money to lock-up chinese variations of their domain name. See NetworkWorld article We don't recommend registering domain names with unknown companies. Use only reputable companies such as Register.com, Network Solutions, GoDaddy, Yahoo etc. or other companies you trust. You may want to visit other pages or sites to learn more.
