Scammers often use the names of legitimate banks, companies, governmental agencies and other organizations to make their claims seem legitimate. If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should delete it. Do not contact the sender or anyone listed on the email and especially do not give out personal information. NEVER pay any fees of any kind. Also, do not deposit a check from this scammer (it is most certainly fake or stolen). If you are victimized by an overseas scammer, there is not much that you can do.
