Standard Bank Benin (SBB) is referenced in emails such as the one below that appear to be fraudulent or bogus.   If you get a similar e-mail, you should ignore it.  Do not contact anyone listed on the email or give out any personal information.  Never pay any fees of any kind.  Do not cash any of their checks as they may be forged or stolen.   Even though a check may initially clear your account, it may bounce several weeks later and you can be held responsible and even face criminal charges.  You may want to visit other pages or sites to learn more.

Congratulations, for You have won a whooping sum of US$2.5Million(Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) as Confirmed by this financial institution.

We are responsible for the processing and payment of the lucky winner's Prize for the Euro Asia Sweep Stake Lottery promotions, Category"C"(Africa) of which your winnings was zoned. The funds has just been deposited with us, all that is required of you to claim your winnings are as follows:

1) Winning Certificate: A Winning Certificate must be issued to all winners, by the Lottery Organization. A copy of this certificate must be sent to you,! By your lottery agent (Fowler & Adams Agency) and this in turn, Must be sent to us by you. If you have not yet received this Certificate, You are hereby advised to contact your lottery agent and demand for your winning certificate, Which will serve as a proof of your Winnings.

2) Full Contact Address: You must send your full name, full Contact and Postal Address. Your Phone and fax numbers for easier communication with you.

3) Identification: A pictured I.D. card of you must be sent to us, for record purposes. i.e A scanned copy of your Drivers Liecense or A copy of your International Passport. via Fax or Email Attachment.

4) Bank Account Information: You are required to give to us your accurate banking information's in order to make us transfer this funds into you bank account.
