Loans offered by spam emails can be attempts to scam you in one of three ways. (1) They might ask you to pay certain fees upfront before releasing the loan (the loan may never come); (2) they might send you a fake or forged check that will look genuine even to your bank and ask you to send a portion of the money back to them (the bank may not detect the forgery until months later and the bank may hold you responsible); or (3) they might ask you to disclose personal information to either steal funds from your credit card, bank account or by identity theft. If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should ignore it. Do not contact anyone listed on the email or give out any personal information. Never pay any fees of any kind. Do not cash checks from an unknown source-they may be forged or stolen and even though they may initially clear your account, they will bounce several weeks later and you will be held responsible and could even face criminal charges. 4. INSURANCE POLICY: An insurance certificate must be obtained for all Planet Finance International Loans before transfer of Loans can be done.
