Exposing Internet Fraud & Scams |
British Gaming Board was referenced in unsolicited emails that appear to be fraudulent or bogus. This site contains a large collection of scam and hoax e-mails. Lottery scam emails are those that attempt to scam the recipient into sending money in order to claim lottery winnings in lotteries that were never entered into. Don't be fooled by official looking documents (e.g. phony governmental certificates, checks and passports) as scammers make a living forging these things. If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should delete it. Do not contact the person and especially do not give out personal information such as bank account information or your social security number. NEVER pay any fees of any kind. A legitimate lottery does not ask this. If you are victimized by the fraud, there is not much that you can do. You may want to visit other sites to learn more.
