Lottery Scam E-mails

Dutch-Microsoft Software Promotions was referenced in one or more unsolicited emails that we have received, which are set forth below and elsewhere on our website.  These emails appear to be fraudulent or bogus.  This site contains a large collection of  scam and hoax e-mails.   Lottery scam emails are those that attempt to scam the recipient into sending money in order to claim lottery winnings in lotteries that were never entered into.  If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should ignore it.  Do not contact the sender and especially do not give out personal information.  NEVER pay any fees of any kind.  A legitimate lottery does not ask this.  Also, do not accept a check to help pay any fees (these are often forged or stolen checks, that will probably be accepted by your bank but will probably bounce several weeks later-- your bank will hold you accountable and you might even face criminal charges).  Most of these scammers operate overseas, so that if you are victimized by the fraud, your chance of any recovery is unlikely. You may want to visit other sites to learn more.
