Lottery Scam E-mails

FIFA World Cup Lotto was referenced in unsolicited emails that appear to be fraudulent or bogus.  Our website contains a large collection of  scam and hoax e-mails.   Lottery scam emails are those that attempt to scam the recipient into sending money in order to claim lottery winnings in lotteries that were never entered into.  If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should ignore it.  Do not contact the sender and especially do not give out personal information.  NEVER pay any fees of any kind.  A legitimate lottery does not ask this.  Most of these scammers operate overseas, so they can safely scam you. You may want to visit other pages or sites to learn more.

Dear Sir/Madam,

AWARD NOTIFICATION:

The FIFA World Cup™ combines different cultural elements, human ideals and powerful sporting values. On one hand it unites people from around the world to share ideals that are common to all nations and cultures: fair play, friendship and respect for adversaries. On the other hand, the event has a unique global appeal and the broadcast reaches a mass audience of nearly 30 billion viewers around the world.

It is this image of the event that we have collaborated with the Official Partners and Sponsors to organize and draw the first ever FIFA World Cup Lotto.

In the announcement of the lucky winners for the prestigious 2006 FIFA World Cup Lotto, your email address was attached to ticket number 13-2316-5086-477; with serial number A025-09, which drew the lucky numbers: 37-13-34-85-56-87 {Bonus Ball}, and which subsequently won you the lottery in the 2nd category {match5 plus bonus}. You have already been approved for a lump sum pay out of $5 Million USD (Five Million US Dollars) in cash credited to file REF NO. PDUP/67 AO916520567. Since your winning is in category A, the bank that will pay the winners in this category is based in the United States of America.

All participants were selected through a highly secured and integrated computer-generated FIFA ballot system, drawn from countries all over the world. No FIFA Lotto ticket was sold.

Your award prize of $5 Million USD is securely deposited with a financial institution in the USA while waiting for your feedback to commence the transfer process. Due to the mix up of some numbers and names, we advise you to keep your winning information confidential until your claim is processed and the money remitted to you in whatever manner you deem fit to claim your prize. This is part of our security protocol to avoid double-claiming or other unscrupulous acts by some disgruntled unlucky participants of this program.

In order to update your file and refer you to the paying bank in USA, we request that you should provide the following;

****************************************** Your full names & address Your telephone & fax numbers Date of Birth Your occupation/business Your business address

Marital Status *******************************************

The process of remitting the funds to you will be quickly arranged as soon as we receive your personal data as requested above.

Sincerely,

Collins Smith Lottery Director 2006 FIFA World Cup Lotto
