Exposing Internet Fraud & Scams |
We received an unsolicited e-mail with a reference to "German Lotto." This e-mail appears to be fraudulent or bogus. Typically, these types of e-mails attempt to scam the recipient into sending money in order to claim lottery winnings in lotteries that were never entered into. If you get an e-mail that is similar to this one or one among our large website collection, you should delete it. Do not contact the person and especially do not give out personal information such as bank account information or your social security number. Do not pay any fees of any kind. A legitimate lottery does not ask this. If you are victimized by the fraud, there is not much that you can do. You may want to visit other sites to learn more.
