Exposing Internet Fraud & Scams |
World Vision UK was referenced in unsolicited emails that appear to be fraudulent or bogus. World Vision, the actual charity, calls such letters "fraudulent." Their website says that
World Vision does not make cash awards of this nature and such communications are bogus. If you receive such an email or emails that purport to come from World Vision, please do not register your details with the sender. Instead either delete the email or forward it in its entirety (with header information), to info@worldvision.org.uk.
Our website contains a large collection of scam and hoax e-mails. If you get an e-mail that is similar to one in our collection, you should ignore it. Do not contact the sender and especially do not give out personal information. NEVER pay any fees of any kind. Most of these scammers operate overseas, so they can safely scam you. You may want to visit other pages or sites to learn more.
