Reactivate Your Chase Account

Phishing e-mails are e-mails from scam artists who use "official" looking webpages designed to trick you into believing they are from a legitimate source. They generally imply that your account will be suspended or deactivated unless you click the link to the webpage that is linked from the e-mail. Sometimes they say that someone is trying to use your account or this is done for "security" purposes. Once you are at the site, they will ask for personal information. You may be asked to provide or verify personal information such as bank account information, credit card information, social security information and password information. If you get such an e-mail, you should delete it and do not provide any of the requested information. However, if you are still not convinced that you have a fraudulent e-mail, please contact the company directly and explain the e-mail you received.

Your online credit card account has high-risk activity status. We are contacting you to remind that on March 27 2006 our Account Review Team identified some unusual activity in your account. In accordance with Chase Bank User Agreement and to ensure that your account has not been compromised, access your account was limited. Your account access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved.

We encourage you to log in and perform the steps necessary to restore your account access as soon as possible. Allowing your account access to remain limited for an extended period of time may result in further limitations on the use of your account and possible account closure.

This notification is part of the All-Electronic Program you enrolled in to receive your activity report online.
